Clerk's Office

Laura LeVasseur was hired as the clerk for Lent Township in May 2008. Laura understands the rural lifestyle having lived in Lent Township since 1989.

During regular office hours at the town hall, Laura handles all the paperwork and communications for township business. She dispenses the varied requests and comments from residents to the appropriate staff or board member. It is Laura’s responsibility as clerk to maintain the minutes of town meetings, as well as overseeing all Election Day activities.

Among her many duties, Laura is the go-to person for scheduling town hall rentals, obtaining building and land use permit applications, and receiving gopher feet for the bounty. She can also perform notary services for the public.
