September 23, 2020 Cleanup day Board Notice of Quorum

Notice is hereby given that a quorum of the Lent Town Board of Supervisors will be attending and helping at the Lent Township Fall Cleanup Day on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm located at the Maintenance Garage across from the Town Hall at 33212 Hemingway Avenue, Stacy, MN 55079. The Board members may be in attendance prior to or after the event to help set up or take down.

Food and Essential Item Pantry on Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm

The pantry is sponsored by a resident and is hosted at the Lent Town Hall. For more information, please contact Carolyn Cagle at carolyn@lenttownship.com. You can pick up or drop off donations between the hours of 5pm and 7pm on Wednesdays. Non-perishable donations preferred. Please check the Welcome to Lent Township Facebook page for updates.

Some of the items currently in the pantry include:

Napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, cereal, canned fruit/veggies, snack pack jello, applesauce, crackers, pasta, pizza sauce, toiletry kits, juice boxes, boxed meals (rice/pasta), pet food, and more! If you or someone you know is in need, please come or help spread the word. If mobility is limited, there are volunteers who will deliver to your doorstep.

Items needed: kids snacks, cereal and juice

Only one person oversees the operation and it is frequently sanitized for your safety as well as theirs. Use the south entrance (by kitchen).
