Laura LeVasseur was hired as the clerk for Lent Township in May 2008. Laura understands the rural lifestyle having lived in Lent Township since 1989.
During regular office hours at the town hall, Laura handles all the paperwork and communications for township business. She dispenses the varied requests and comments from residents to the appropriate staff or board member. It is Laura's responsibility as clerk to maintain the minutes of town meetings, as well as overseeing all Election Day activities.
Among her many duties, Laura is the go-to person for scheduling town hall rentals, obtaining building and land use permit applications, and receiving gopher feet for the bounty. She can also perform notary services for the public.

Town Board meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, starting at 7:00 p.
m. at the Lent Town Hall. Citizens are encouraged to attend.
Staff meetings are generally held on the 1st Monday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at the Lent Town Hall.

upervisor A, Gene Olson, chairperson, current term expires in March, 2015. Supervisor B, Rick Keller; term will expire in March, 2016. Supervisor C, Lyle Johnson, vice chair, term will expire in March, 2

The clerk, Laura LeVasseur, was appointed to her position in 2008. The treasurer, Stephanie Aker, was hired in 2013.
