To the Electors of the Township of Lent, in the County of Chisago, State of Minnesota:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That a Primary Election will be held at the Lent Town Hall located at 33155 Hemingway Ave., Stacy, MN 55079 on Tuesday, the 9^th day of August 2022. The polls will be open from the hour of seven (7) o’clock A.M. to the hour of eight (8) o’clock P.M. for the purpose of nominating candidates for Federal, State, and local, which are to be voted for the General Election to be held on Tuesday, the 8th day of November 2022.

Lent Township Notice of Public Hearing

Conditional Use Permit Application

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 7:00 p.m. at the Lent Town Hall, 33155 Hemingway Ave, Stacy, MN 55079 and via Zoom, the Lent Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to solicit public response to a request from an applicant (NSP/ Xcel Energy) regarding parcel 05.00006.00 for a proposed Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for transmission pole storage. The Planning Commission will make a recommendation regarding the application to the Town Board for their meeting to be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall and via Zoom.

Application materials are available for review upon request. Those persons having an interest in said meetings are encouraged to attend.

District 7 MAT Meeting Potential Quorum Notice

The Lent Township Board will meet with other townships for the purpose of their District 7 Minnesota Association of Townships (MAT) meeting on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 7:00p.m. The meeting will be held at Chisago Lake Township 12400 316th Street, Lindstrom, MN 55045. A quorum of the Lent Township Board is likely to be present.
